There are some sneaky, but perfectly legitimate ways to radically boost your credit score in just weeks instead of the usual 12-18 months. They hinge one very critical fact about the credit bureaus that actually works to favor the consumer (aka the “little guy”).
And that is: if you dispute an item on your credit report-even a charge off or bankruptcy the credit bureaus have to investigate the validity of the entry. The burden of proof lies with THEM not you. So in this arena we are still innocent until proven guilty. 
Many people have used this fact to clean up or “repair” their credit-some have boosted their FICO scores from the 500’s to the 700’s! Needless to say, boosting your credit score like this will save you thousands of dollars on your credit costs.
